Foolish Words Poem by Jeffrey Adegor

Foolish Words

Rating: 0.5

A fool is a fool
If he does not know he's a fool
All men are fools
But few decide not to use this tool
These are the ones we call wise
The ones who decided to rise
From the weakness of a fool's eyes
Now they stand giving series of advice
Now we listen to these foolish motivations
Following these foolish instructions
Conceiving these awkward initiations
Working with uncertain premonitions
And now we've become wise
No longer held down by a thousand cries
We now see the silver in the skies
We now know its okay to give a thousand tries
And that weakness makes us stronger
Foolishness makes us wiser
Sluggishness makes us faster
One step at a time makes us better
A wise man is foolish
In the eyes of the foolish
A foolish man is foolish
Says the man who the foolish calls foolish
.
We're all foolish in the other person's eyes
But our foolishness is what makes us differently wise
.
