I am what I am and cannot change
For only He can re-arrange
Only He can change the heart
And make all foolishness depart
I am a foolish man I know
But He can make the fruit to grow
This fruit let all my branches fill
Until this tree shall bear His will
These are the fruits the Spirit gives
Love, Joy and peace to him who lives
Within the compass of His love
He gives long suffering from above
And then there's gentleness and faith
Goodness and meekness like a wraith
That guards the temper lest we sin
And give into what lurks within
And lastly temperance has it place
To keep us on a steady pace
All these are given and whats more
Against all these there is no law
