This is for a lovely friend

With all my heart I truly send

A kiss upon most gentle breeze

Understanding in degrees

My hand I most humbly lend

With compassion caress your broken heart

Your spirit touches me from the start

Like a willow I will bend

Anything go help give you mend

Warmest hug or soft healing touch

I would wish to give so much

Because I know for me you'd do the same

In kindness, in care, without shame

And in joy we feel his grace and praise His name

Knowing the hard road from where we came

It is elation to feel the beauty in God's creation

Friendship journey, caring without end

On that you can depend

As I depend on you
