...For All Is Fair In Love....
all is fair in love
repeat it to yourself
when you find yourself
empty again, alone with
all your failures
alone with all your
longings unsatisfied by
fate and time
for here i have seen
a king beg for love to a
native, like a lion pulling
all his teeth in exchange
for a handful of cares
surrendering a kingdom only
for a kiss.
