This is the day God has made,
And I am alive and fee.
Free as the wind, the cool summer breeze,
That blows across the sea,
For God has made this day for me.

Basking in the warm sunshine,
There is no where I would rather be,
Than here in this golden place with you,
Beneath the autumn trees.
For God has made you for me.

You arms around me holding me tight,
There’s no place I would rather see,
Than these rolling hills, or the autumn trees,
Because you’re here beside me,
For God has made your arms for me.
