i thirst for you
i do not tell you
how can you understand
this thirst
for you? i am the man
mounted on a horse
beside me a fountain
i thirst for you
water of my soul....

i thirst for you
and drank from you
in those secret moments
of my life, but for now
i cease
though this thirst still
thirsts for thirsts
sake,

but i cease, i keep this
thirst as a purification of
my soul,

this soul that i now
offer
for God
who thirsts for me.
