For Joan Baez (On Hearing Diamonds And Rust) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

For Joan Baez (On Hearing Diamonds And Rust)

Who is playing,
Playing the guitar,
The guitar,
Who,
Who the girl with the guitar,
The girl, the girl with a golden voice
So vocally lyrical
And gorgeous?

So lovely, so reminiscent of,
Nostalgic and full of feeling,
Singing down
What this life has,
What love has to her,
Remembering it,
Forgetting it not,
Reliving the dreams
Dreamt
Seen as tributes to.
