For Kai At Easter,2010 Poem by Jacqui Thewless

For Kai At Easter,2010

a greeting heart,
this is what I’m thinking:

the wee honey bee sheltering
in a white shell:

his hill burial
the clay without a flower;

the hail, his
cold cradle;

wind wailing
his name.
