For Nzuri Poem by Drexel Berry

For Nzuri

</>
I don't see you I see your spirit
I can't see your spirit but I can feel it
Placed in premeditated premature predicaments
And yet my mind yearns for the company of yours. Am I an idiot

I'm not but I must be since I haven't figured out how to turn you and me to we
And we undoubtedly can be happy if we just learn to breathe

Relax and breathe the air that we share when we're near
And find that I care about you and any pain happiness or love you may bear

Creativity that knows no bounds beauty unbound
Love not yet found intellectual attraction that is so pronounced
The feeling you created in me is so profound
I just couldn't let you go with out it truly being announced

I just want you.
