For Our Mistakes In Life - Poem by Francis Duggan

For our mistakes in life always some price to pay
This is how it is life works in this way
We learn as we live in truth one can say
And life has new lessons for us every day
No point in regretting mistakes of the past since the past it has gone
Since the now is all that does matter and life does go on
Life it does have it's own lessons for us all
We learn from the past when the past we recall
Of tough days in life you are one who has known
But others too do have worries of their own
Mistakes they too have made came to them at a cost
And they too can only learn from life opportunities lost
Life has it's lessons only true to say
And for our every mistake always some price to pay.
