For Our Sins Poem by Francis Duggan

For Our Sins

For our sins against others the price we will pay
If not to the law then to Karma one day
What goes around comes around so true for to say
But they have nothing to fear those who live in the honest way
You may be the wealthiest one in the town
But if on your way to the top you have dragged others down
Like others before you of you will come to know
That we reap in life what we does sow
Live and let live and to each their own
A recipe for a well lived life that is widely known
So many wealthy people in every town
Who on their way to the top have dragged others down
For our sins against others the price we will pay
If not to the law then to Karma one day.
