Sport it is not all fun it would seem or that's how it would seem to be
For the losers only sadness and for the winners the joy of victory
F I F A World cup qualifying games are one example the losing fans are a sad sight to see
They look and feel devastated to know they won't be going to Germany.

Not everybody can be a winner for one to win one has to lose
Losers barely get a mention in the sporting headline news
The winning fans are celebrating lauding their heroes one and all
And the losers are all but forgotten them few do wish to recall.

Sports and other things are not that different society it puts so much stress
On us in our lives to be successful we are driven by success
Yet on who is or is not successful everyone will not agree
What a successful life does entail seems different to you and to me.

The winning fans are celebrating they look to another day
And the losers with their heads bowed from the Stadium slink away
Their team will not be going to Germany for to play for Sports big prize
And their bitter disappointment they do not try to disguise.
