Let us meet
In a cafe
Dimly lit,
Where our darkness
Will shine
Gleefully.
Away.
Far away
From the mayhem
Of words
Which have infested
Our minds
Like parasites
Feeding on our
Happiness.
We will read
Each other,
Like books
Unwritten.
We are
Untold stories.
The food
Will grow cold,
As we serve each other -
Ourselves;
In a platter
Of insecurity.
Eavesdropping strangers
Will hear -
Nothing.
Cause we'll speak
In silence,
With our eyes.
And only
When we
Have tasted
Our tears
Will we hear
Our laughter.
I will be hesitant;
You, unsure
But as time will flow
Between us,
I will take off
Your mask
And you'll
Take off mine
Only to find
Together,
Our imperfections
Are perfect.
