For This I Liveth Poem by Ayomide Samuel

For This I Liveth

Like the apple of Gold on a silver plate.
Like the song of the birds through the rustling wind.
Like the darkness of night before the bright day.
Like the height of mountains from the base of the earth.
Like a moon in the noon and sun in the dark.
Like a castle in the air.
Like nothing the world had ever seen.
Let nature witness the mystery of our love.
Let sapien wonder at our affection.
... For this I'm birthed.
... ƒσя this I liveth.
