For To Be A Poet, You Have To Be Sensitive Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

For To Be A Poet, You Have To Be Sensitive

For to be a poet, you have to be sensitive,
Sensuous and sentimental
And without being sensitive,
You cannot be a poet.

For to be a poet, you have to be a reader,
An observer
Of life around you
And of the world you dwell in.

For to be a poet, a lover's heart is a must
And without loving anyone,
You cannot be a poet.

I do not ask you to love and girl
Or fall in love at first sight
And pine for her.

You may love a flower too,
See and feel the beauties
Of the wayward flowers too.
