For You Poem by Ludwig Lang

For You

Rating: 4.0

An eternity past but still it dwell,
Shall truth be told or shan't I tell,
Will it be hid like pearl in shell,
Or shall I utter it and set another farewell..
And sirens perished in fire,
All the men sailed back to Tyre,
And they pray to the gods that may,
Families by kept at bay,
Have the demon slain,
And all men can feel the unbearable pain..
Then all souls shiver in dread,
For faith be kept below their heads,
But me instead, my pain is dead,
Beware you darklings, my hope shone bright,
Fret not my darling, for you I fight..
