We will travel this world, you and I, and then, sated,
spent, renew ourselves in each other, in our own land.
So it will be, in this life and more.
I am not what I wear, nor you what you don till this
journey's end.
In the next you may find, a 'stranger' - loving, kind.
Know from the twinkle in the eye, the twitch of the lips,
the verses I try. Yes, we are together again,
And so it will be till we meet in the ocean that laps
our shore even now. Whose breeze I feel in quiet moments,
whose gentle surf soothes the mind.
Then, in the forever, we will part never again.
