For every time you did something
Just because I wanted to do so
For every time you said yes
When you really wanted to say no
For every time you changed your mind
Just to see me smile
When I wanted to act in haste
And you said, “Let’s wait a while”
For all these, my darling wife
I can’t thank you enough
All I offer is this life
