For You I Would Poem by Don Subba

For You I Would

Tomorrow is too far away,
So let me give my heart today.
Love has finally learned your name,
It will stay through joy and pain.

Till time grows tired of its flow,
Pure as a white dove above.
Let the sky remember you, my love,
Even if I say it all again.

Even 'I love you' isn't enough.
Time may change what we go through.
But God's eternity remains
The only limit to my love for you.

For you I would,
For you I would,
I want you to know,
I need your smile to live.
For you I would.

There are many things
I could live without.
But I want you to know,
Your smile is all I need.

For you I'd rise, for you I'd fall,
I'd give my heart, I'd give my all.
For you I'd win, for you I'd lose,
There's nothing I would never choose.

For you I'd laugh, for you I'd cry.
For you I'd live, for you I'd die.
God's eternity remains
The only limit to my love for you.

Tomorrow is too far away,
So take my heart today.
If time keeps pulling me apart,
I'll still be holding your heart.

For you I would,
For you I would,
I want you to know,
I need your smile to live.
For you I would.
