Foraging Tomorrow Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

Foraging Tomorrow

Eating everything
on the menu
Dylan asked for more

His hunger
reestablished
leftovers on the floor

A bite into
the future
yesterday a whore

A meal once paid
forever staid
— new rawness to procure
