Forbidden Poem by Hillary Unknown

Forbidden

It would never work out for us
We’re too different they say
What say do they have?
They won’t be here after today
Can’t we defy what reality’s said?
We don’t need anyone to tell us the facts
We already know how crazy it is
Shouldn’t we at least try to fight their attacks?
We’re old enough to understand the truth
You and me together forever
We can make it through
But we’ll never
Everyone’s against us being together
So we’ll keep it hidden
And never reveal
Our love that’s forbidden
