Forbiden Daydreams Poem by Wendelin Weird

Forbiden Daydreams

Rating: 5.0

Late at night she feels down
She thinks of the one that can lift her frown
he remains clueless to the joy he can bring
just if he says hi makes her want to sing.
she sent him a text and waited in vain
how could no reply inflict so much pain?
she stayed up just in case he might respond
her thoughts began to drift into the beyond
images of stolen moments together just sitting alone
walking hand and hand into a forest unknown
spinning and dipping at the dance
nothing could stop their true romance
She woke up from the daydreams and let out a sigh
'He will never love me I must say goodbye'

A beautiful daydream and maybe it will come true. Keep on writing and you will eventually see that all daydreams do not end in goodbyes. I like this poem, Lynn.
