Forest & Me Poem by Auro Bhattacharya

Forest & Me

Rating: 5.0

Between the mountains in the valley of flowers
Springs and water falls from melting glaciers,
Deepest in the forest i walk slowly melancholy
unmoved by the virgin beauty of nature around.
Thoughts are not wary but on one only; my beloved.
Who is mine still not mine.
Oh my god, you know how big pain is this
deep in my heart.

Some heartaches are inconsolable. Only God could help. A sad connotation, but true. 10
