Forever, each and every night
Remember the day
That meant so much at the time
When someone you loved went away
Leaving a void in your heart
Now the candles are alight
So as to shine in the memory
Such a beautiful sight
Of one missed, now they're no longer here
Flickering flames
Dispelling any fear
Whilst the candles burn brightly
Thoughts never fade
Passing may be a short sorrow
Through time, memories are made
As Christmas approaches
Tears fall, like a sprinkling of Snow
Because it's the time of the year you miss them most
And the heart lets you know
But always remember
How close that someone is everyday
Because deep in your heart
Is where they will always stay
I bet there looking down on you
Feeling the same
Thinking my early departure
Was such a great shame
But remember that someday you will return like me
To the place from whence we originally came
So light those Christmas Candles
Let the light of your love shine so bright
And remember to say sweet dreams my darling
Each and Every Night
Passing causes such sorrow
There is a pain in your heart each and every day
Thankfully the memory of a loved one
Never fades away
Always there to remind you
Of one you loved so dear
They may seem to be so far away
But in reality they are still so near
