Forever Goodbye



The heartache is at end,
though you're not by my side.
You didn't explain
or apologize.

I long for you're touch,
but no longer need it.

You did what you did
for a reason,
I hope,
that is true.

If it's best for you
than i will accept,
and with as much grace and dignity that I can,
I'll quietly say forever goodbye.
