On this day, you awake
To a place far above
One you alone can be
For God has chosen thee

To live with him, Our God
In a world, so high above
A place you alone can be
For heaven Is now your home

Memories you leave behind
In boxes upon the bed
Pictures we cherish so dear
Ones worth 1,000 tears

Loved ones you leave behind
Ones you'll miss so dear
As you walk above
Guiding us with love

No love can be lost
For you alone, know this well
The distance may be far
But you'll always be, In our hearts

You are not forgotten
For you alone were loved
Loved so dearly by family
Ones who hold you close

The tears we cry
Ones filled with sorrow
For you were a gift
One we were blessed with


A life you leave below
On a journey, Now you go
Upon the path, God has set
Set for you, alone to follow

Now with God, You are
Our lord, we Cherish so much
One who will guide you
Through heaven above
