Forever Love Poem by Braden Patton

Forever Love

Rating: 4.8

Your hair is soft, pure like honey.
Your smile is polite, simple and sunny.

Your eyes are intricate, to reflect your deep thoughts.
Your skin is diverse, sprinkled with freckled dots.

Your mind is eager, salivating to adore.
Your sight is precise, for my vision is poor.

My hands are clean, but my mind is scattered.
My throat is torn, while my tongue is tattered.

My body is solid, though I feel fragile.
My stomach is churning, like a turning windmill.

My heart is yours, to relieve our endeavor.
My love is for you, I am indebted forever.

My forever love, won’t you stay mine?
You can live in my heart, while we escape this human time.
Let’s play connect the dots with the stars,
let’s take a stroll around the solar system.
When you look at me through eager eyes my heart beats like a piston.

My forever love, my emerald-eyed angel.
You taught me to sing, with a voice that rings like a bell.
Let’s fly through the sky and sleep on a cloud,
Let’s bask in the suns glory and sing out loud.
Let’s stay in the vast blue and never be found,
Our voices will ring out and rain down,
On the beautiful world we left behind,
We live in the clouds now and we’ve found peace of mind,
This new world we’ve discovered is like a dream,
Where we are free to sing and dance and scream,
Completing our lives and fulfilling every wish,
For a humble glance or a simple kiss,
This is my devotion for my angel above,
Whom I live for, my forever love.
