When The Sky Cries Poem by Braden Patton

When The Sky Cries

Show me your hidden fear,
Tell me you want me near.
Kiss my lips and hold me tight,
Tell me everything is alright.

When you hold me in your arms
I feel complete.
When you look at me with starry eyes
I cant breathe.
Whten you kiss me in the deep of night
My chest heaves.
When the turns to rain in snow
We shiver in the breeze.

Lets race for cover and forget our fear.
Lets hope to god we are in the clear.
Lets kiss and hug and maybe cry,
Our tears will symbolize
Our peace and joy,
As we learn to love and maybe fly,
The sky will cry
and we wont care,
this moment is perfect in the cool night air.

So bundle up my dear,
You’ve got nothing to fear.
Hold my hand and stand by my side,
Join me in the wake of the tide,
Soak ourselves in romance and we’ll hide,
Love is a scary thing,
But if you help me out
Ill be glad to do the same,
For you, my love,
I’m the only one to blame.
