Forever Or Never? - Poem by Celene Bonin
Was this all a lie?
To tell the truth, you rather die?
My heart, your words impale
What they now unveil
Does this cruelty bring you satisfaction?
Waiting to view my reaction
Why must you be so vain?
Can’t you see my pain?
I can’t fathom your ignorance
To think my love was once held in Reverence
This ache is too immense
Leaving me to grow intense
Now I see
This is what must be
I must leave this for the rest
I know that is the best.
