Torn apart!
Soul from the rain.
Sorrow to the sun.
In folded hands, and magnified cold.
Within lies much agony it cannot be sold;
Be bold when you lie,
Fear is strange to those that die!
So when it's time to cross,
It's torn between rain and sun.
Between the frost of Greece;
Or trapped in the tension of the East'.
But more heart to slaves,
Who would never know freedom.
For millions who were sold as teens;
In all the years have lost much green'.
And though they lay and rise in homes;
Would never know home'.
Once from the rain.
Is forever in the sun..
