Forever Young Poem by Shelcy Joseph

Forever Young

Rating: 5.0

They say you eventually get old
But in my mind I will be forever young
To me, the notion of youth surpasses the physical
Its very essence lies in the spiritual
Youth is that freshness of attitude
That saves you from platitude
Longing to live in a desire to achieve
Going along with nature and ending every day a little more mature
Chasing high sensations caused by our emotions
Seeking wisdom to come out more winsome
Taking chances in a thirst for experiences
Youth is concealed behind all these actions
Which results guarantee eternal satisfaction
Youth is life in disguise
It's a period to memorize
So who's getting old? No one
For youth is in everyone
