Forget Poem by Jessi Hardison

Forget

Tick tock, tick tock.
Does it ever stop?
Nope, never, sorry.
But, really, that shouldn't be a shock.

That doesn't mean watch the clock.
At least not all the time.
I've made that mistake.
Sometimes you just need to let it go, take a second to mock.

Mock those like me, who never forget.
Lest, we all have regrets.
So forget them.
I'm learning to forget the past, an old bet.

I'm happy knowing this.
My time will come and it will go.
Just as those before me, I will remember.
In memories is pain, and bliss.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Was bored and was staring at a clock for some odd reason. Then this came to mind. Made it words.
