A Fallen Angel Poem by Jessi Hardison

A Fallen Angel

I am new,
reborn, unscathed
Neverless damaged all the same
I was a kindred spirit
joined with another, as one
Called by knowing, not by name

My
happiness torn away
Just like that, 'twas gone
I was one by myself for an
endless day
So I was reborn supposedly made to forget
The one I loved in
every way
I remember

Like a fallen angel
That has seen God's face
but know they never will again
A need that is so relentless locking me in my
personal cell
But yet I know that at one time personal was not only for me to
know
My soul mate is gone, the angel is in Hell

Whoa! Heart-touching for the text, somewhat hilarious in the end! Well, a great job. You know your way around words
