Forget his name
Forget his face
Forget his smile
His warm embrace
Forget the love that you once knew
Remember that he loves somone new
Forget him when they played your song
Remember you cried all night long
Forget how close you once were
Remember he has chosen her
Forget how you memorized his walk
Forget the way he used to talk
The things he used to say
Remember he has gone away
Forget his laugh
Forget his grin
The small dimples on his chin
Forget the way he held you tight
Remember he's with her tonight
Forget the time that went fast
Forget the love that moved, it's the past
He said he'd leave you never
Remember you left him
Forever
wow! i like this poem... very nice i wish i could do its advice... God bless!
Wow the Forget him Poem. Whete did you get this poem from? Is so similar to my poem back in 1985. I'm amazed that it's so similar to mine just differently way off words, back in those days the whole high school had photocopied my poem and had changed words around..
I just found a poem, much like this one, that I always believed I wrote 50+ years ago. Found it among my stuff. Whoever wrote it, it is lovely and I will continue to believe it was me.
This poem was circulated all over my school when I was in seventh grade. I am now 63 years old, so NO, it wasn't written twenty five years ago. It was actually written over fifty years ago.
This poems original author.is Carrie Hill Martin and she wrote it about 25 years ago when she was in only 5th grade in Toronto, Canada
