Forget Me Not Poem by Antipas Akko

Forget Me Not

When seasons have passed
Be they years or decades
When I am but a memory
I ask of you, forget me not

Will you ever wake to thoughts of me
If we are ever worlds apart?
When I am a million miles away
I only ask of you, forget me not

Whether I sleep in a comfy bed
Or laid to rest in a grave below
I will remember my heartbreaker
But I ask of you, forget me not

If I live a fancy life
Warm dinners and tasty wine
They mean nothing without you
So I ask of you, forget me not.
