Harrowing Dawn Poem by Antipas Akko

Harrowing Dawn

the hardest parts
of all my days
are without a doubt
the mornings

wrenched and wrestled
taken from my dreams of you
to wake to the reality of your absence

such torments!
to be without you
idle, horrid existence.
