Forgive Your Enemy Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Forgive Your Enemy

Would you forgive your enemy,
Even though they did you wrong?
Would you be able to let them be,
If it'll somehow make you strong?

Would you forgive your enemy,
After what they did to you?
Even if they just cannot see,
But it's the right thing to do.

Would you forgive your enemy,
After they caused you so much pain?
Even though they couldn't see,
That your teardrops fell like rain.

Would you forgive your enemy,
And no longer hold a grudge?
Because in the end we all are free,
And someone else will judge.
