Forgiveness Ungiven Poem by Lesa MRK

Forgiveness Ungiven

If you asked me if it hurt me,
When you said goodbye,
I wouldn't know how to answer,
I wouldn't know what to say...
In which way.

Every dream we had....
Shattered
Like tiny bits of glass-
It was too good to be true;
I knew it could not last.

Now no amount of knowledge,
Could make me understand.
No amount of apologies,
Could dry the tears in my eyes...

Forgiveness
Ungiven.

I wrote a poem entitled 'Forgiveness'; perhaps you could find some relief with this encouragement. Not forgiving others puts yourself at risk.
