Forgiving is the seed that we must sow,
It's the key to peace, let no grudges grow to reap.
For holding onto hate and anger inside,
Will only lead to more pain and divide.

Forgiving is the seed that we must sow,
Let us not see our foes as just that,
For in forgiveness, we can all combat.
The cycle of revenge and vengeful strife,
And instead, choose to live a harmonious life.

Forgiving is the seed that we must sow,
An eye for an eye, only makes eyes blind,
For what good does retaliation find?
It only spreads more hurt and despair.

Forgiving is the seed that we must sow,
And the one who refuses to forgive,
Is the one who truly suffers and lives,
In a prison of their own making,
And the pain they feel, is constantly aching.

Forgiving is the seed that we must sow,
A way to break free,
From the chains of resentment and enmity,
It's the seed that brings forth love and grace.


Forgiving is the seed that we must sow,
So let us not hold onto grudges,
For in doing so, we only live in fear.
