There was something I wanted to tell you,
But I just can't remember what,
I feel embarrased to say this,
But I think I now forgot,

It's really, really, important,
So please don't leave just yet,
I know that I will remember,
Just give me another minute,

You get ready to leave,
'Cause I'm taking all day,
Then it finally hits me,
I remembered what I was going to say,

I have but one thing to say to you,
I hope you'll listen too,
I can't believe I forgot this,
