Forgotten - Poem by Emlu Reid

Suddenly I remembered that I had forgotten something,
Searching through my string of thoughts,
where one leads to another and so on,
I come to where I had thought of the forgotten subject and still cant,
remember it,
is it a name?
a place?
or a thing?
what could it possibly be?
Changing my mind deciding to think of other things,
After forgetting that I once was trying to remember something,
I remember the forgotten subject.
And pause to wonder what it was for.

Interesting flow of thought, Emlu. However, had you been my age they would have been referred to as, 'senior moments.' (Report) Reply
