Forgotten Poem by The runner who hides

Forgotten

I can feel you
Your right next to me
You haven’t left yet

Why haven’t you left?
Did you forget something?
Did you forget to smile more?

You forgot me
I was always there
I was there when you cried so
I wiped your tears
I held your hand
But you forgot me

You forgot to wipe my tears when I cried
You forgot to tell me it’s going to be all right
You forgot to make me a snack after school
You forgot to make me laugh
Instead I cried

I wore a frown upon my face
Not a smile with such grace
