Forgotten Christ Poem by Regina Scopelitis

Forgotten Christ

Rating: 3.0

Forgotten Christ, upon an Alter,
Not upon a throne above.
Alone, save for so few who enter,
Bound a prisoner of love.

Oh my Jesus, loving tender,
Comfort me in my hour of need.
Heal my broken heart, my Jesus,
Please, I make my humble plea.

Waiting for a weary traveler
Seeking help or in distress.
Please believe me Gentle Jesus,
Bring me peace and give me rest.
