Forgotten In Time Poem by Allissa horn

Forgotten In Time

Open my eyes to world alone
peel my skin from the bone
the tears well in my eyes of a pain
FORGOTTEN
let in the light my eyes are open
crawling from within the dark
on this soul youleft your mark
to never be
FORGOTTEN
break these chains and let me go
all that remains you will know
is a shattered soul never to be known
to no one by no names, have I been
FORGOTTEN
awakeing and waiting everyday
to see what games my mind will play
my eys have fallen to the ground
and there they stay and are bound
as I walk past the people I have
FORGOTTEN
pull me from this dark mind
bring me back to this time
have I fell beyond the fallen
is there anyone left who hasn't
FORGOTTEN
me

the honesty is compelling the truth powerful and told so well yet in the end the soul smiles a poem bursting forth to declare the power of communication
