Forgotten The Heart Poem by Poppy Fry

Forgotten The Heart

staring
in empty eyes
that are filled
with
useless cries

tears
that can fill
the sea
nothing
that could
surprised me

sorrow
forever surpressing
cuts on my wrist
that are, oh so, depressing

so little to live for
so much to die for

crawling in my gore
my heart is sore
holding my fears
my life disappears

remain
my pain, I can't sustain

fly away
I die away

for my life
that lies at the tip of this knife

shalt not remain

my face, I wish to replace
every peice, I cannot release

my wounds
tend to ooze

help the stained child
blood that is so exile

broken hearts
lose their parts
