Forsaken Poem by jean monzales

Forsaken

Your words are like daggers.
It cut deeply into my flesh.
Take a look at my wound.
Can’t you see it’s bleeding?
My blood screams for you.
I’ve gone tired of crying. My tears are already dry.
Melancholy creeps into my veins.
Tormented and betrayed,
I lie alone here in darkness.
