Fortunate Poem by Nick Jordan.

Fortunate

Rating: 5.0

Stop whining about how life's unfair
and how you're hard done by,
Consider those less fortunate
And think to wonder why,
Those that go without don't cry
Or moan about their plight,
They simply just get on with it
By putting up a fight,
They don't give up or bail,
Just because things become too tough,
Even if they fail,
Or things are a little rough,
They simply pick themselves up
And have another go,
Because life ain't a rehearsal,
They carry on with the show,
So next time you feel jaded
Or sorry for yourself,
Just think of those less fortunate,
With problems or ill health,
Then you may see
Things aren't all that bad,
Within your life itself!
