Forward Poem by Tessa Eichhorst

Forward

Trying to turn a new leaf and let things go. No longer being miss predictable. Sometimes putting it all out there is the biggest curse, and on the other hand, holding it in can make it worse.
How long does one wait, hold back, just see, are you everything I want with me?
Are you the one I want to call home to when the days go dark? Are you the one I want to start and end my day with? While I'm pondering these thoughts in my head, are you pondering them in yours. Am I the one you want to run home to when your days get dark? And am your am start?
With the wind spinning idly by, can I just sit here and wait awhile? When you're done figuring out your path, I hope I'm available to say yes.
