Foster Mother Poem by venkata lakshmi narasimharao

Foster Mother

Oh! Mother, you gave me birth
And I came to this wonderful earth
You taught me how to walk
And what and how to speak

But you let some other woman adopt me
I am no longer free
She is more stylish
I have become foolish

I learnt her mesmerizing word
And traveled all over the world
Her word is much sweeter
And I use it frequently on twitter

All the time I think about the foster mother
You made a mistake, my dear mother
Some times I remember your view
But I can not come back to you

Oh! Mother only you are my root
But I have a different fruit
The fruit is very delicious to eat
Oh! Mother, forgive my uncultured treat

Nice and attractive poem. It deep in thought if we read it throughly. India is like our own mother that has bestowed decency and culture. But, we are sorry because we follow the western culture that acts like foster mother. I like it.
