I found me
When I couldn't bear to feel
Any more
When my heart was wounded
My armour pierced
When my very self
Was close to shattering
Into fragments of the me
I thought I was
I found myself
My strength
My roar
My tears flowed
As I cared for the girl who broke
Inside
So I could love her
And bring her back to me
